Graduate Exhibition
As my degree drew to a close I had the joy of celebrating and exhibiting my work alongside my peers at our graduate exhibition. Below are some pictures and info of the process of exhibiting from start to finish.
Thank you to everyone who came to see my work.

Hang Week
Hang week was intense to say the least. Having just come off of weeks painting and editing the book, and a very stressful time getting it printed, and on top of that completing my final portfolio I was pretty exhausted at the prospect of building and painting. That said, with a fun team and the sun shining over us (even if at time’s it was far too hot) hang week was so rewarding. I loved getting to see the exhibition from start, hammering boards together, to prep, sanding and painting our spaces, to end, seeing everyone’s final work fill the blank walls.

We took it in turns in small groups to set up the boards. I was overshadowed by these girlies who brought there own hardhats but I think I was pretty handy with a drill!
Painting the walls
This couldn’t have been done without my extensive Fruit Pastel supply, easy access to Lidl bakers, and gallon of orange juice.
And then after all the stress, and manic mounting and hanging of work… it all came together. On the 17th of May we had our private viewing, and Harry the Hermit Crab took his first step into the world. I loved hearing everyone’s lovely thoughts and feedback, and feel nothing but inspired for the books future.
