The Magic Shop
The Magic Shop is a short story by H.G Wells, published in 1895. It is an eery story about a father taking his young son into a shop that is rather different to any other shop seen before.
I completed these two A3 pieces as part of my second year university project. They were made using fine liner pens and black Indian ink.

‘I had seen the Magic Shop from afar several times; I had passed it once or twice, a shop window of alluring little objects.’ – P1, The Magic Shop

‘At any rate, there he was behind the counter–a curious, sallow, dark man, with one ear larger than the other and a chin like the toe-cap of a boot.’ – P1, The Magic Shop
